Structure of the Cork
Cork is made up of many air-filled corky cells, and there is a cellulosic skeleton (cell cavity) which is particularly tenable in the cell wall. The corky and cork wax cover make it become a kind of materials which have the features of good elasticity (deformation), imperviousness (imperishability), almost no starch, no moth and no obvious signs of aging.
